About Us - The Lyn Valley Guest House

Welcome to our Guest House

The Lyn Valley Guest House is a small family business, first established by mother and daughter team, Jeanne and Laura. Jeanne was the first to discover the lovely Lynmouth, and Laura, who was living in Australia at the time, was soon to follow and fall in love with the area while visiting.

Laura and Jeanne took over the property in 2013, after the business had been closed for a number of years. Having built the business up over the following 10 years, Laura has now moved on to new challenges with Jeanne taking over the business.

Guests have always been our number one priority and we focus on providing the best B&B experience. We look forward to welcoming all our new and returning guests.

Our Location

The Lyn Valley Guest House is nestled in the small North Devon village of Lynmouth, within Exmoor National Park. With the coastline on one side of the village, and the moors on the other, this truly is a spectacular location to explore.

Our Facilities

Our ground floor is home to reception and our guest area, with the guest rooms situated on the first and second floors. The guest area is where you’ll enjoy breakfast, but it is also available to use at any time, and features a small bar with snacks and drinks.

We have a car park to the side of the building, with one car parking space available per room, so there is always a space reserved for you during your stay with us.

Our Rooms

The Lyn Valley Guest House has 3 rooms – one Family Suite (which features separate double and twin rooms), and two Deluxe King Rooms. Being a small family-run guest house, we offer a personalised service with home-from-home comfort.

On check-in, we’ll show you to your room through reception and the ground floor, but there is a separate entrance for access to the guest rooms and guest area, so you can come and go at your leisure.
